If you go on beauty blogs and youtube for tutorials you will notice that the most of them always uses a 'primer/base' on their eyelids before they apply the eyeshadow.
I always thought they only did that for the eyeshadow to stick better on the eyelid (long lasting) and honestly i never had that problem with my eyeshadows (i always used water).

Until recently i've learned that a primer is not only for long lasting, it also claims it's anti-creasing and the color's would be brighter (pigmented).
Well, i needed to see that for myself. (i got curious)

I did a little research on the internet, which brand came out the best?
So i bought the 'Too Faced' Shadow Insurance.

I'm going to test what's the fuzz is all about the shadow insurance, is it really that good?

I've already read that you only need a tiny bit of the product..i kinda used more :/

I'm going to test the 'shadow insurance' with mac eyeshadow 'Beautiful Iris'

Left side no primer, right side too faced primer

Wow, what a deference between the two.
Can you see how much more pigmented the right side is?

I'm sold already haha...

I must say that the primer also does a great job at not creasing and for now the shadow on my eyes are still on my eyelids.

I hope this test was a bit useful?
I know that there are a sooo much more reviews about this product by others, but i needed to test this one myself.

Take care,

Yaaay you guys..i ordered the Too faced naked eye palette and the eyeshadow insurance.

I wanted those 2 for a very long time, because i've read and saw sooo many good reviews on both of them.
Which made me so curious, that i had to have them.

When i were in Haarlem with my mother i saw the 'naked eye' palette and got excited, but when i saw the price tag...not so excited anymore...damn!
So much money for such small eyeshadow palette.

So i searched on the internet and found a waaaay better price for it ^_^ yaaay.
Can't wait until they arrive, so i can play with it ^_^

Just a quick update from what's going on :P

Last friday i colored my hair again.

It has been 6 months ago when i colored my hair, i think this has been the longest time ever.
I almost had the 'ombre' haircolor look :P

My room is still a mess, we are busy trying to sort it all but everytime there is something else we need to do.

But we made a little bit process, so i'm happy :P

I want to make a better make up corner in my room.
Just the products that i'm proud of having, you know brands and beautiful packaging.

Also lately i'm very into creating other eye make up looks, learning things from the internet.

So yeah that was my tiny update of what's going on.

Today my mother, sister and i went to a bon bon making course at the bonte koe and it was really fun to make.
It was nice to do something with the three of us girls!

We made a chocolate bowl, bon bon's and truffels.

My sister's chocolate bowl was the prettiest one!

Yesterday i bought an really cheap ass eyeshadow palette at the black market in Beverwijk for only €2,-

The palette contains 32 shimmer eyeshadow color's.

Nice so far.

Swatching time...

I swatchéd the 4 color's below of the palette.

Not bad right for only €2,- right?

I like it!
Can't wait to play with this palette.

Today my mother and i went shopping in Haarlem.
We really needed a break and do something fun together, because it's been a while ago.
(don't get me wrong, we always have fun together, but we needed to get out of the house)

A couple of months ago my mother and i bought some train tickets, so we went with the train to Haarlem and later on we went to the black market in Beverwijk.

Here are some photo's of our day together.

Train station

We were a bit early in Haarlem. Most of the stores were not open yet :P
So we got some drinks.

Then we saw this little perfume boutique that had a huge chanel doormat.

..with chanel no.5 doorknobs ^_^

Later on we saw this huge rabbit with a guinea pig lying on top of the cute fuzzy bunny ^_^

So cute! Seems like the rabbit didn't mind it at all.
Maby they are best of friends...who knows!

Church

On the way back we had such pain in our feet, that we went looking for flip flops...and let me tell you...that wasn't easy. We went into 3 different stores for cheap ass normal flip flops.
At the end we found them in a store were we didn't thought they would have them...
Hema €2,-
My mother has blue/white polka dots and i have blue/white striped one's..i really like them.
(and i would have been happy at that moment with any color...)

Then we were thirsty again and we saw a cute paris style bistro

Train station

later on we went to the black market in Beverwijk, but i didn't made any photo's of it.
It's not that interesting to have photo's of that there.

I didn't bought anything in Haarlem, at the black market i bought a l'oreal creme €7,- and a make up palette €2,-

(The black market is a huge market place with a whole lot of brands but much much cheaper)
